Engine 1172

Built in 2008, Engine 1172 is a Pierce Contender pumper and carries 750 gallons of water in addition to a full complement of emergency medical equipment, including a defibrillator, respiratory packs and backboards. Bought with a grant, it replaced a 1982 pumper that burned in a 1983 station fire and had to be rebuilt.
